Precision rifle shooters, this one is for you. British Columbia-based Modular Driven Technologies, or MDT[1] for short, has grown into a popular brand since its founding in 2009. Their long-gun chassis systems and other sniper rifle components are loved by many users of Remington actions, Savage, Howa, and more. One of their hit products, covered by TFB at SHOT Show 2020[2], is the XRS Chassis System[3], with a $499.95 MSRP. Now with a June 30th press release, MDT has announced new inlet options for the XRS. Modular Driven Technologies (MDT) Announces New Inlets Now Available for the MDT XRS Chassis System

MDT is excited to announce the addition of Savage Short Action, Tikka Short Action, Howa 1500 Short Action, and Remington Model 783 Short Action alongside the initial Remington 700 Short Action option for the MDT XRS Chassis System.

The XRS is designed for shooters that want the fit and feel of a traditional shaped rifle stock with the benefits of a modern precision rifle chassis system. Each XRS is constructed from a full-length CNC machined core of aircraft-grade aluminum wearing textured polymer panels for insulation from the elements. The precision aluminum bedding system ensures fit and function to maximize the accuracy of any rifle action. The XRS features a replaceable over-molded and textured grip system, with both an angled grip and a vertical grip, included out of the box.

The XRS is the most advanced and configurable crossover stock on the market and is the ideal performance upgrade for any factory rifle or foundation for a custom rifle build. Weighing in at 3.9lbs (depending on the inlet), the XRS is ideal for both hunting or target rifles. The XRS features an adjustable length of pull via spacers from 13.25” to 15+” and a quick-adjust cheek piece to adjust for scope height overbore. The XRS accepts standard AICS pattern magazines and has an easy to manipulate ambidextrous magazine latch. The generous 12.12” long Forend comes with MLOK slots built in for accessory mounting and attachment of ARCA or Picatinny rails.

Available inlets: Rem700 SA, Rem783 SA, Tikka SA, Savage SA, Howa 1500 SA, Right-handed inlets only.

The MDT XRS Chassis System is available at[4] with a starting price of $499.95.

MDT is the leading precision rifle chassis manufacturer with offices and production in both Chilliwack BC Canada and Everson WA USA.

MDT was born out of a single purpose: to provide better value and better accuracy for precision rifles. The first MDT chassis was developed from the ground up based on the needs of shooters.

Our engineers verified every function and feature based on the input from competitive shooters. The end result was a game-changing product called the TAC21 that continues to perform at the range, in the field and competitions around the world.

Today, MDT chassis, magazines and accessories are still developed the same way.

We collaborate, question and verify our concepts with precision shooters from around the globe to ensure that every MDT product is designed with the same single purpose: to help you Shoot Better.
